HLM Sports Therapy was established in 2020 by Haylee, shortly after graduating from the University of Chichester with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy. Haylee gained her clinical experience at a private sports injury clinic whilst finishing the final year of her degree. Since graduating, Haylee became a permanent part of the clinical team before deciding to set up her own business.
Haylee is a keen sportswoman with a particular interest in basketball. She has played basketball since a young age and has had the opportunity to compete internationally for England between the ages of 13 and 18. Having suffered two serious knee injuries from basketball, Haylee has had a number of surgeries meaning she is no-longer able to play internationally, however she does still play for Sevenoaks Suns in the WBBL, the highest level in the UK. From her career in basketball and the injuries she has been subjected to, Haylee understands the psychological and physical implications an injury can have on all aspects of an individuals life.
The knowledge and experience Haylee has gained in her Sports Therapy career has contributed to her high levels of patient care and ability to connect with patients on a personal level. Haylee believes everyone should receive the same level of care, irrespective of their sporting ability or background, whether that be the elite athlete, or the weekend gardener.
